AX008-0005 - SMS Messaging Server Std. License / AX008-0010 - SMS Messaging Server Prof. License
The main difference between a Standard License (AX008-0005) and Professional License (AX008-0010) is the support for SMPP. A Professional License allows you to make use of SMPP.
Using the SMPP protocol instead of a GSM modem has the following advantages:
- The SMPP protocol is TCP/IP based, GSM hardware is not required;
- High throughput;
- It's possible to register a short-code (e.g. 4444);
- Alphanumeric sender address can be assigned.
